Skeptic North – At Long Last!
Posted by Ethan Clow on October 8, 2009
On Episode 29 of Radio Freethinker I mentioned the brand new pan-Canadian skeptical blog Skeptic North. I’m very pleased to be a contributor to this excellent resource for Canadian skeptics and it’s quite an honor to blog alongside some the leaders in the skeptical community here in Canada, you can learn a bit about some of my esteemed colleagues here.
The goal of Skeptic North is to present skeptical issues to the media and public here in Canada. Hopefully act as a rallying point for those with concerns and a way to connect with groups and blogs and podcasts all over the country. If you’d like to learn more about our mission statement and goals you can read about them here.
Already Skeptic North has proven to be quite a success! We’ve gotten kind words from Michael Shermer, Phil Plait, the Skepchicks just to name a few, so I’d like to add to that list and yes I realize I’m biased (being a contributor and all) but Radio Freethinker wholly endorses Skeptic North. I would hope all our listeners take the time to check it out here and there and see what sort of skeptical issues are going on.
